So last night I gave up on writing a post-finale one shot fic. I had some ideas, but I didn’t like how any of them were working out. I want Charmings but I couldn’t get the tone right. So I finally gave up and was like, “well I guess I’ll just get to work on ch. 7 of One for the Heart of it All since it’s been two weeks since the season ended and I’ve got diddly squat.”

And then I showered. And when I got out of the shower, I had it. I sketched out ideas for it while still wrapped in a towel and not having moisturized (which means my skin was screaming at me by the end of it — I have super dry skin) and it was a quiet day at work today, so the fic is at least half done. And the tone is exactly what I wanted.

Anyways, just thought I’d share that little tidbit as I’ve been seriously thrilled since last night. I haven’t actually re-watched the finale yet. I feel like I want to re-watch the last three episodes when I have the chance (I’m having uber Ema feels atm) but June is going to be a super busy month for me. I have to plan and throw my best friend’s bachelorette party, and then attend her out of town wedding. (Yes I am old enough that my friends are now getting married. What freaks me out is when they talk about kids.)

I’ve got the timeline almost up to date on my work computer. I still need to input Hat Trick and The Stranger but all the other episodes are in order. Should have that up before July (lol) and I have to update the other pages as well but that doesn’t take as long.

This has been an official message. That paragraph about the FTL timeline means it counts as an admin post. I will now stop using my squeeing tumblr as a personal blog. You may continue with your regularly scheduled Once feels.
